About

Calvin
I am a Bay Area based developer and designer When I'm not working on all that, I like to read (Goodreads). I enjoy basketball, boxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, golf, and running. I also like producing music and beats and playing the drums. I'm attending Santa Clara University, studying Computer Science and Studio Art. I work with their Division One NCAA athletics program there, making cool stuff for the teams. I'm also currently working on my design studio, 'ENV|Spilled Ink', the clothing & lifestyle brand, 'Something New!' (here), associated with it, freelance photography, and a lot more personal projects. Expect much more to come! Feel free to check out my Resume, reach out to me on LinkedIn, or send me an Email!
Skills
Coding Things
I'm experienced in full stack development in agile workspaces from creating dynamic frontend solutions in Vue.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, & CSS, to collaborating with AWS services orchestrating efficient deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, & more bridging the gap between frontend and backend.
Designing Things
I started making logos in Photoshop and Illustrator for small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. From there I've went from discipline to discipline, learning and experiencing as much as I could from every aspect of design. Lately I've been focused on graphic design for athletics and sports, as well as clothing & fashion design.
Development

As an intern on Team Shelby, we help provide real solutions to real Ford problems through rapid prototyping and experimentation to produce fully fleshed out MVPs for stakeholders.

Working at INRIX, we're using big data and the latest innovative technology to build products focused around traffic and mobility, bringing these solutions to customers, and making the world more efficient, safer, and greener.

As the webmaster for Santa Clara's Association for Computing Machinery chapter, I was responsible for keeping their websites up to date. This entailed adding regular content, new features, and server updates.
